While on their honeymoon in Europe, Samy and Genet Fars got the idea to create an internationally inspired café in their adopted home of the San Francisco Bay Area. The result is Café Grillades.

The menu offers the authentic savory and sweet crepes they found in France, the paninis and gelato of Italy, Mediterranean inspired salads, and the grilled skewers and authentic couscous plates of the Iberian and North African coast, along with delicious breakfast selections served all day.

Insisting on offering ingredients of the highest quality, creative and innovative menu items, and superb service for their guests, the Fars have acquired a large and loyal following. Local business men and women regularly schedule meetings at the restaurant, and a large group of regulars have become "like family".
